The Baumer Sensor Suite (BSS) is a PC freeware for evaluation, selection and parameterization of both IO-Link devices and Baumer CANopen devices. It helps application developers implement devices more efficiently – particularly thanks to intuitive visualization of sensor functions. The BSS is based on a future-oriented software architecture with elements of the Microsoft Azure Cloud. Thanks to cloud connectivity, users can access the latest software version and functions at all times. The basic BBS version includes Catalog, Device Library and Device Cockpit Apps. BSS is the ideal tool for exploiting the full potential of IO-Link devices. This quality is now accessible also for the Baumer CANopen devices.
