Cutting-edge technology inside a compact drive solution: The brushless EC-i motor combined with an EPOS4 positioning controller results in a maintenance-free compact drive with field-oriented control (FOC) in a high-quality industrial housing with connectors and IP65 protection class.
Brushed DC motors
Our brushed DC motors are equipped with powerful permanent magnets and the globally patented ironless rotor. The modular DCX and DC-max programs can be individually configured in accordance with customer specifications.
Brushless DC motors
Key features that set the brushless DC motors (EC motors) from maxon apart are their excellent torque performance, extremely wide speed range, and unrivaled service life.
Sensors
Interference-free, high-precision performance even at high loads: We offer precise digital encoders, DC tachometers, and resolvers with a high degree of accuracy and high signal resolution. These devices have to be fitted to the motors at the supplying factory, as the installation process is fine-tuned to the corresponding motor.
Motor & motion control
maxon controllers and multi-axis controllers allow for accurate coordination even with complex motion sequences. All current, speed, and positioning controllers are specifically designed for DC and EC motors with up to 1000 W. CANopen or EtherCAT enable fast networking and the controllers meet the highest requirements with regard to power and precision.
