Answer

If you do not know your current Serial Number, go to Start --> Rockwell Software and Select FactoryTalk Activation Manager. In FactoryTalk Activation Manager, click Find Available Activations button to view serial numbers for currently activated software:

Note: Both within FactoryTalk Activation Manager and on the Product Compatibility and Download Center, the RSLogix 5000 and Studio 5000, with or without specifying Logix Designer, are interchangeable. For example, if looking for RSLogix 5000 version 20.06.00, the download may be labeled Studio 5000 version 20.06.00 .

1. With your current known Serial Number, go to the Product Compatibility and Download Center (PCDC), and click on Download by Serial Number.
   
2. Enter your Serial Number and matching information. Then press Validate.
   
3. Select the appropriate version of Studio 5000 Logix Designer, or RSLogix 5000 that want to download, then press Downloads to proceed to the software download.
   

Note: If you wish to download version different than the latest one you need to use dropdown list visible under Version . Then you will be able to pick all available versions:

• In the case of a Subscription Portal license it need to be a Studio 5000 Legacy license to have access to Studio 5000/RSLogix 5000 in versions below 20.05

If you are using a Toolkit serial number and a different product is displayed underneath, continue with steps below:

1. Press the Show All button to view all software available under your serial number
   
2. Enter Catalog Number or Product Name and look for the desired software to download.
   
3. Once you have selected your product, you can choose from the versions listed for the download.
